Privacy

Noctura is the app of the Noctura Media reselling team. Anyone can create an account and apply to join; what is inside is for members. Last updated October 11, 2026.

What we collect

Your account: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), your role, and an optional profile photo.

Your application: if you apply to join without an invite code, the role you asked for, your answers to the form's questions (such as where you sell online and how many hours you have) and the note you wrote. The team's admins read it to decide.

Your eBay sales: when you add an eBay store, Noctura reads only the emails eBay sends about your sales (sold, shipping label, cancel, refund, return). From those we keep the item, price, shipping, order number and date. We never keep the email itself and never read any other email.

A job application on our website: the name, email, phone number, state, answers to the form's questions and note you send with the quick application form on nocturamedia.com. Only the team's admins see it, to get back to you, and they delete it once it is handled. It does not make an account.

What you post: messages, photos, videos and files you share in the community, and Facebook sales you add by hand.

Alerts: if you turn them on, a push token for your device so we can send you sale and mention alerts.

Your profile card: your state and the link to your eBay store, shown to the team when they tap your name.

Nocty, the AI helper: when you ask Nocty something, your question (with the earlier messages in your own Nocty chat, for context) is sent to the AI service that writes Nocty's answers. Your name, email, sales and other messages are not sent, and the service does not use your questions to train its models. Nocty asks for your OK the first time, and you never have to use it. Questions Nocty can't answer are shown to the admins so they can add the answer to the guides.

How it's used

Only to run Noctura: show your sales, the monthly Top 5, community chat, and alerts. Admins can see all sales; suppliers see the sales of the resellers paired with them. Buyer names and order numbers are visible to admins only.

We don't sell your data, don't show ads, and don't track you across other apps or websites.

Where it's stored

On our servers (Render, in the United States) and our private file storage (Cloudflare). Email sign-in tokens are encrypted. Everything travels over encrypted connections.

Your choices

You can disconnect a store, delete your messages, change your name, photo and password any time in the app. You can block a member so you no longer see what they post, and report a message or a member to the admins.

Deleting your account: in the iPhone app, open More, then Account, then Delete account. It takes effect at once: your name, email, password, photo, devices and store connections are removed. Sales already recorded stay as anonymous team totals. On the website, or if you can't sign in, write to us from the Support page and we'll remove it within 30 days.
